Your happiness means the world to us. We totally understand that sometimes a wig just isn’t quite right—and we’re here to help. This page explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at Wigs by Steph.

  • ✔️ Ready-to-ship wigs: Return or exchange within 28 days (see conditions below).

  • ❌ Custom wigs & pre-cut lace wigs: Final sale, no returns.

  • 📦 You pay for shipping both ways.

  • ⏱️ Contact us within 7 working days of receiving your wig to start a return.

⭐️ Can I Return or Exchange My Wig?
 

Yes — we accept returns and exchanges on ready-to-ship wigs as long as:
 

  • You email us within 7 working days of receiving your wig.

  • Your return arrives back to us within 28 days.

  • The wig is brand new, with:

    • Uncut lace

    • Tags attached

    • No makeup, perfume, hair products, or damage

    • Original packaging included
       

⚠️ Custom wigs and wigs with pre-cut lace are final sale and can’t be returned or exchanged.

⭐️ International Returns
 

If you're returning a wig from outside of Canada:

  • You pay for the return shipping using an express, tracked service.

  • Returns must arrive back to us within 28 days of when you first received your order.

  • Most express international returns take 4–10 working days, depending on your location.

⭐️ Custom Wigs: No Returns
 

Custom wigs are made just for you, using your measurements, your chosen color, and your unique cap design.

These one-of-a-kind wigs can’t be resold, so they are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

⭐️ Cancelling a Custom Wig Before Production
 

  • If production hasn’t started, we’ll cancel your order and give you a full refund.

  • If production has started, we may keep part of your payment to cover materials and labor.
     

⭐️ How to Start a Return or Exchange

Email info@wigsbysteph.com within 7 working days of receiving your wig.

Include:

  • Your full name

  • Your order number

  • A brief reason for your return or exchange

📦 Return Shipping Info
 

  • Please ship your wig back using express tracked shipping.

  • If your return is lost without tracking, we cannot process your refund.

  • You pay for the cost to return the wig to us.

  • The original shipping fee you paid at checkout is non-refundable.

Your wig must be returned in:

  • Original packaging

  • With tags and lace intact

  • Clean, unworn, and undamaged condition

⚠️ If your return doesn’t meet these conditions, we’ll return the wig to you without a refund.

⭐️ What Happens After We Receive Your Wig?
 

We’ll inspect your wig within 10–14 working days. If approved:

  • Refund: Sent to your original payment method. Most refunds appear within about 10 days, depending on your bank.

  • Exchange: Your new wig ships within 2–3 working days, depending on stock.

  • Store Credit: We’ll email you a code to use on a future order.

⭐️ Important Notes
 

  • Wigs that are used, altered, or damaged (including cut lace) cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Customized wigs, wigs with pre-cut lace, or final sale wigs are not eligible for return.

  • If we don’t receive your return or proof of shipment, we cannot process a refund.

  • Any returns sent outside the timelines or without authorization may be refused and sent back.
