Q: What’s the difference between the two human hair caps offered: Signature Cap Vs. Essential Cap?
Steph Answers: Both caps are glueless, lightweight, and thoughtfully made — so you can’t go wrong either way. The Signature Cap is 100% hand-tied, giving the most natural movement and realism possible. The Essential Cap has a hand-tied monofilament top (for flexible parting), with closed wefts at the back to make it a more affordable option — without compromising comfort or everyday wearability.
Q: Which cap is best for daily wear?
Steph Answers: All of my caps were designed for everyday comfort. The Signature Cap is the one I personally wear the most. It’s the lightest, softest cap I’ve ever worn, perfect if you’re planning to wear your wig all day, every day. If you’re newer to wigs and love the idea of synthetic, the Everyday Cap is where I’d start. And if you want human hair on a more budget-friendly path, the Essential Cap is a beautiful place to start.
Q: What is a monofilament top — and why does it matter?
Steph Answers: A monofilament top means each hair is individually tied by hand into a soft, sheer mesh. It creates the illusion that the hair is growing right out of your scalp and allows you to part the wig any direction. This makes styling way more flexible and gives the wig a realistic look from every angle — even up close. It creates a natural-looking part and makes them extra durable, even more so than an all-lace top.
Q: Are these wigs glueless?
Steph Answers: Yes! All three caps are 100% glueless, with no tape or glue needed to keep them secure. On my human hair caps, I’ve added subtle silicone grip zones throughout the design so your wig stays comfortably in place all day long. The Everyday Cap has an adjustable Velcro strap at the nape for a secure, comfortable fit.
Q: Will either of these caps feel hot or itchy?
Steph Answers: Not at all. I made sure all three caps are breathable, soft, and scalp-friendly, even for those with sensitive skin. The Signature Cap in particular is whisper-light and airy, which makes it a dream to wear in warmer weather or for long days. The Everyday Cap feels light on your head too, so it’s comfortable all day.
Q: I have hair underneath — will these caps work for me?
Steph Answers: Absolutely. If you have bio hair underneath, all three caps can still work beautifully. The adjustable Velcro straps at the nape help you customize the fit, and on my human hair caps, the grip zones help anchor the wig to your head securely. If your hair is thicker, I recommend braiding it or using a wig cap to smooth it down. This helps the wig sit flatter and more comfortably against your head for the most natural look.
Q: Should I wear a wig grip underneath my wig?
Steph Answers: You can, but it’s not necessary with my caps. All of my caps are completely glueless, and the Signature and Essential caps have silicone grip zones designed to hug your head securely. The Everyday Cap has an adjustable Velcro strap at the nape for a secure fit. Some people still prefer the added security of a wig grip, especially if they don’t have bio hair underneath, but in most cases, my caps are made to stay put on their own.
Q: Will the cap stretch over time?
Steph Answers: It can — especially if it’s stored on something too large, like an oversized canvas block head. I always recommend choosing a mannequin or block head that matches your head size (or is slightly smaller) to help preserve the cap’s shape and prevent it from stretching over time.
Q: Can I use tape or glue with these wigs?
Steph Answers: All of my caps are 100% glueless. On the Signature and Essential caps, I’ve added silicone zones where tape or glue can be applied if you ever want that option. The best part? Those areas are designed to make removal easy and won’t damage your wig like applying glue directly to lace would.
Q: Are these wigs good for beginners?
Steph Answers: Yes, I promise they are! I created these wigs to be luxurious enough for seasoned wearers, but intuitive enough for beginners to feel right at home. Once you’ve adjusted the nape strap to your liking, it’ll take you less than a minute to pop it on and head out the door, with no glue, no fuss, and no extra styling needed. Q: Can I part the hair anywhere?
Steph Answers: Yes — all of my caps have a monofilament top, which means you can part the hair on the left, right, or down the center and it will still look like it’s growing from your scalp.
Q: How long do these wigs last?
Steph Answers: With proper care, these wigs are truly built to last. Human hair wigs, especially the way mine are constructed, can last for several years if you treat them well. Synthetic wigs naturally have a shorter lifespan than human hair, but mine are built to go the distance. The Everyday Cap’s mono top is so durable that the cap is rarely what wears out, and the premium fiber holds up beautifully with the right care. All of my caps are designed with durability in mind, and the monofilament in each cap makes them more resilient than all-lace wigs.
